PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how Kerry Mitchell Brown, LLC, doing business as Revolutionary Leadership (”we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you subscribe to or interact with the Revolutionary Leadership publication on Substack, the revolutionarylead.com website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
This Privacy Policy supplements, and does not replace, Substack’s own Privacy Policy, which continues to apply to your use of the Substack platform.
1. WHO WE ARE
Kerry Mitchell Brown, LLC operates the Services under two trade names: Revolutionary Leadership (for publishing, podcasting, and thought-leadership activities) and kmb Consultancy (for consulting and advisory work). Operations are based in Illinois and Florida.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide directly: — Email address (when you subscribe to the newsletter or create an account) — Name (when you provide it during signup, for book acknowledgments, or for event registration) — Payment information (processed through Stripe; we do not store full payment card details) — Content you submit (comments, chat messages, replies, survey responses, event registrations) — Correspondence when you email us — Information provided through speaking inquiry forms, consulting inquiry forms, or contact forms on revolutionarylead.com — Event registration details (for Office Hours, pre-launch gatherings, or similar events booked through Calendly or similar scheduling tools)
Information collected automatically: — IP address — Browser type and version — Device type and operating system — Pages visited and time spent — Referral source (how you arrived at our content) — Geographic location (approximate, based on IP) — Interactions with emails (open and click tracking)
Information collected through cookies and analytics tools: — We and our analytics providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Services. This includes Google Analytics 4, Meta/Facebook pixel (when active for marketing campaigns), and Substack’s own platform analytics. — These tools collect information about your device, browsing behavior, and interactions with our content and with advertisements about our content on other platforms.
Information from third parties: — If you connect a third-party service (such as signing in through a social account), we receive information from that service as permitted by your settings on that service. — Stripe provides us with payment confirmation and subscription status, but not your full card details.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
— Deliver the Services (sending newsletters, processing subscriptions, publishing podcasts and other content) — Process payments and manage paid subscriptions — Respond to your inquiries and correspondence — Fulfill pre-order bundles, founding member benefits, and event access — Personalize content recommendations and understand audience interests — Measure the performance of our content, advertising, and marketing — Improve the Services — Send transactional emails (welcome messages, subscription confirmations, payment receipts, event reminders) — Send marketing emails about the Services, the book, speaking engagements, and related offerings (you can unsubscribe at any time) — Protect against fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service — Comply with legal obligations
4. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We share information only with the following categories of recipients:
Service providers who help us operate the Services: — Substack (newsletter hosting, subscription management, payment processing) — Stripe (payment processing) — Google (Google Analytics, Google Workspace email services) — Meta/Facebook (advertising pixel, when active) — Calendly or similar scheduling platforms (for event and meeting bookings) — Email delivery services used for direct correspondence outside Substack — Podcast hosting and distribution partners (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, Castbox) for podcast content distribution — Third-party contractors who help operate the business (such as virtual assistants, designers, and consultants, all bound by confidentiality obligations)
For legal reasons: — To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request — To protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our subscribers, or others — To enforce our Terms of Service
In connection with a business transaction: — If the business is sold, merged, or reorganized, subscriber information may transfer as part of the transaction. Any successor organization will be bound by this Privacy Policy or a comparable one.
We do not sell subscriber information to third parties.
We do not share subscriber email addresses with other publications, marketers, or advertisers beyond the service providers listed above.

Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

6. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
When you subscribe, you agree to receive the newsletter and related transactional emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or through your Substack account settings.
We track email opens and link clicks for analytics purposes. If you wish to opt out of open tracking specifically, most email clients allow you to disable image loading, which disables the open-tracking pixel.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain subscriber information for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to:
— Respond to any reactivation requests — Fulfill our legal obligations (for example, retaining payment records for tax purposes) — Maintain accurate business records
You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9). Some information may be retained in backup systems or to comply with legal obligations even after deletion of the active account.
8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. 9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Categories of information we collect are described in Section 2. We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months and do not plan to.

12. SECURITY
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or stored on our Services. You use the Services at your own risk.
If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
13. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND CONTENT
The Services may contain links to websites and platforms operated by third parties (including podcast platforms, social media, and partner sites). Those third parties have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them.
14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify subscribers by email or through an announcement in the Publication at least 14 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
